One of the important topics of physics during college days and confusing too at least it was during those days was “FRAME OF REFERENCE”.
Lets have a quick refresh of it what i understood …….
A frame of reference is a particular perspective from which the individual observes everything else around him or to say the whole universe.
In physics, it refers to a provided set of axes from which an observer can measure the position and motion of all points in a system, as well as the orientation of objects in it huh something absurd….
Lets try and understand the theory regarding different perspective
In psychology, it refers to a set of standards, beliefs, or assumptions governing perceptual or logical
evaluation or social behavior.
Assumption perspective
- I assumed everything that goes up has to come down according to gravity till i found out escape velocity.
- I assumed I was confused till i found out i was not sure about it.
- I assumed my girlfriend had only one person in her life till found out the others.
- I assumed that hypotenuse square=base square plus height square was given by Pythagoras until i scanned out Vedas.
Beliefs perspective
- I beleived i was dedicated worker and performing excellently but my manager thought otherwise.
- I believed i was a cool dude but the girls think otherwise.
- I believed i was a obedient son but my parents thought otherwise.
- I believed i was making a style statement when i smoked till i found out it has become a habit then a necessity rather than a statement.
Social perspective
- I thought I was absolutely social till i understood what antisocial is all about.
- I thought individuals together made society till I found out no society drives a individual.
- I thought one day i would be a king till i found out its not king who rules but the king maker(courtesy gandhi family).
- I thought cricket was the most popular sport in India till i found out its a fashion to follow cricket
well i give up….this theory is as confusing today as it was few years back well you can add your clarity of subject or your confusion on the subject courtesy the comments section.
